Mitua Girls Senior School has received a major academic boost after more than 340 Form Four candidates scored a grade C and above in the recently released BUNTRA (Bungoma and Trans Nzoia Quaker Schools) examinations.

The results were officially released on Wednesday morning by Chief Principal Angelina Kosgei during the school’s morning assembly.

Addressing students, the principal praised learners for maintaining a high level of discipline, describing it as one of the key drivers behind the school’s strong academic performance.
Kosgei said the encouraging results have raised hopes of an even better performance in this year’s KCSE examinations compared to last year.

She attributed the success to the commitment of students, the dedication of teachers, and the conducive learning environment that has continued to characterize the institution.

The latest performance is expected to boost confidence among candidates as they intensify preparations for the national examinations.

Education stakeholders at the school believe the results are a clear indication that Mitua Girls is on the right path toward achieving improved KCSE outcomes.

With the examination calendar entering a critical phase, the school administration has urged students to remain focused and maintain the discipline that has become synonymous with the institution’s growing academic success.

The BUNTRA examinations bring together schools from Bungoma and Trans Nzoia counties and are widely used to gauge candidates’ preparedness ahead of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

At Mitua Girls, the latest results have strengthened optimism that the school could register its best performance yet.
