President William Ruto on Friday dared his political rivals to stop “making noise” and bring a real agenda to the table, confidently declaring himself unbeatable for the 2027 elections.

Ruto claimed the opposition is entirely bankrupt of vision, though critics argue they just can’t hear each other over the sound of his presidential jet taking off.
The President fiercely defended his frequent flyer miles today, insisting he is Kenya’s “chief diplomat, not a tourist.”
To prove it, Ruto announced a new deal with Norway to secure 1,000 maritime jobs for Kenyan seafarers.
This comes right as his administration faces heavy scrutiny for spending a cool Sh1.3 billion on foreign travel.
Back on the ground, Ruto casually dropped that construction on a brand-new Sh375 billion JKIA airport terminal will kick off next month.

Dismissing public pushback over the Chinese-contracted project, Ruto noted that the current airport’s tarmac canvas is simply too embarrassing for his taste, adding that the government miraculously has the money ready—even if State House hasn’t quite explained where it’s coming from.
Meanwhile, the President vehemently rejected claims that Kenya’s education sector is in shambles.
He proudly pointed to a historic Sh784.5 billion allocation in the new budget and his record of hiring 100,000 teachers.

However, a somber shadow hung over the day’s political boasting as the nation held a requiem mass for 16 schoolgirls killed in a dormitory fire at Utumishi Girls Academy.
In a statement, Ruto vowed to make schools safe again while authorities interrogate nine students for arson.
